OSU is a very frustrating team to watch. I hate watching players like Thomas, Buford and Sullinger who can be all mighty one game and then little bitches in the next. I have been down on Sullinger for awhile thinking he is going to be a shit NBA player. He is doing nothing to change my mind.
I really like OSU to the Sweet 16 but I don't think they get passed there. I have talked to my friends around here about FSU/OSU all year and would love to see it. I do think FSU matches up very well with them. FSU has the length and athletic ability to frustrate OSU. These type of teams do generally matchup well with the last couple years of OSU teams.
But FSU is inconsistent on O and could crap the bed vs Texas or Cincy in round 2. I think the matchup is dependent on OSU because I actually like the matchup with WVU.
I still think Cuse takes that Region though. Like UK as well but Baylor should scare them the most there. Duke isn't athletic enough to matchup with UK imo . I think Duke was the best 2 for UK to draw.
Love Mizzou out West. Think they can take down Michigan State if Michigan State can even get to the Elite 8.
Want to pick against UNC but I think that bracket is very weak. Gotta evaluate.
Can you call 5's like Wichita State and Vandy sleepers though? Vandy is a great team though. They played UK tough all 3 times and just beat them.
East bracket is fun for me.
-My one cousin is currently at Syracuse. They play my other cousin in NC's school in UNC Asheville -If Cuse gets to the Sweet 16, my other cousins school Vandy could play them. They are sisters who can see their schools play if this happens.
Plus I like OSU and FSU and they are in the bracket too. Fun matchups to see and hope for the best
I'm still doing a lot of catch up on most teams and conferences and i've got a lot of work to put in before thursday.
1 thing i do know is, OSU could make it to the final 4 but its not likely. The thing about March madness is there will be a good team that gets hot at the right time and they are going to make a big push. OSU can be that team. I'm not a Sullinger fan and i never have been. He plays small and he's soft in my opinion but he does have the ability to be a baller on the college level. Bufurd gets hot, Sullinger plays to his full capability and 1 other person hits his stride then OSU could make a push.
I'm not high on Mizzou or Vandy and i don't think they'll make the final 4.
I have Kentucky, Mizzou, and NC for sure in the Final 4. I wanted to pick against UNC but that part of the bracket seems the easiest to me. The other region, I have no idea. Still leaning towards Syracuse even though I think they could potentially lose to Kansas State or Vandy beforehand. I do think Cuse would be a bad matchup for FSU.
Right now I am leaning towards Cuse over FSU in the Elite 8

We had our bracket draft tonight. For reference we have six guys and draft teams according to our random draw. Points are 20 points per win adding the seed that wins minus the seed who loses. So a 1 seed beats a 16 seed is 21-16= 5 points for the winning team. My teams are
Kentucky Georgetown Louisville UNLV Mich Memphis So. Miss Colorado St Detroit UNC-Ashville
Kentucky Baylor Louisville Missouri Vanderbilt Florida State North Carolina Kansas
Kentucky Missouri Florida State North Carolina
Kentucky North Carolina
I had Syracuse in the final 4 before Fab Melo got eliminated. He is too big to their zone defense for me to think they can win the bracket. So I rolled the dice on FSU and it is somewhat wishful thinking (although possible).
Hardest part was me picking Louisville over Michigan State in the Sweet 16. I just think Louisville has an easy road to the Sweet 16. Davidson is pretty weak and New Mexico/Long Beach State is probably the weakest 5/12 matchup. So in the end, it wouldn't kill me if MSU goes one more round than I picked.
Big upsets I have:
Long Beach St 12 over 5 New Mexico NC State 11 over 6 San Diego St South Florida 12 over 5 Temple
Also have 3 10's winning in WVU, Xavier and Virginia
